What is your track doing on Derby Day?

Because I can not bet the under card at home I am doing Derby Day at
the track for the first time in 6 years. Bay meadows with live racing
and Golden Gate with simulcasting both have $35 turf club buffets. I
will choose the latter as it will be less crowded with fewer yuppies
dressed as southern belles or Kentucky Colonels. I specifically
requested a table with a tv in a far corner.

I am told that New York OTB celebrates the Derby with their
semi-annual cleaning of the rest rooms.

Calder Race Course the home of $12.5K claimers! Blame the Florida
Horsemen Union for this crap! And their fellow union friends in
Kentucky. This has been going on for many years in Florida. It's
always the same, FL Horsemen want more money for their very inferior
product. For years any players in Broward County couldn't bet any
Florida track from simulcasting outlets like the dog tracks and Jai
Alai Frontons, even Pompono Harness track. Not only that, but you
can't bet any TB track until the last race has been run at Crc, GP.
Total B.S.!
