Certainly not! I'm in this with another massive snooker fan.

It's far from perfect but we're in this for the long term, and as long
as it's financially viable we'll keep going!

Even the bbc website has moved to 1024x768 but your still using 800x600=20
and if that wasnt bad enough - you have google ads on the website .

<whineing voice >
but google ads helps pays for the web hosting

Cant you afford the =A315 a year for proper commercial web hosting ? .

Please yourself, I know it's far from perfect but it's improving fast
and within a few days you'll see further improvements!

'keep coming back - its going to be great'

Often used on web authoring groups :-)

But seriously , I speak as somebody who almost never surfs snooker
websites as the tv coverage is the only thing i'm interested in .

The one and only time i even bother to look at the bbc snooker website
is when theres a bit controversy etc .

So without doubt i'm not one of your target users .

But in true rab c nesbitt terms i will tell you this boy ..... unless
you can offer some sort of unique content that no other snooker website
has then (at best) its never going to have more than a small trickle of
users .

I've worked in journalism for some considerable time so i understand
how these things work, and I agree. We aim to be different, up to date
and regular content and features is our aim.

Not everything is perfect- it currently looks excellent in IE but
terrible in Firefox, but in time I'm confident that in time it'll be
the very best snooker site out there.

Many thanks for everyone's messages of support.

I think you are being a touch harsh Krustov - give the guy a break!

It is difficult to maintain any website and to create fresh content
that a myriad of users will enjoy, but surely we have to let them try!

Do you intend to start using the supreme snooker website on a regular
basis - or will you be sticking to the same cue sport websites you have
used for years ? .

The term 'killer app' applys to a new snooker website .

25 years ago business wasnt really interested in computers , But then
something called a 'spreadsheet' appeared and it was quickly realised
that several days work could now be done in minutes .

Granted its hardly the same thing but the same principle applys .

The point being that journalistic skills arnt a killer app & the supreme
snooker website offers nothing new or interesting .

But what the hell - good luck to them .
