Neal Miyake

as reunion -- 4/20/08

Surfed with Buddy (Bud) today on the North Shore. First thing I get out, I see this guy who tentatively calls my name. Turned out to be as'er Jeff (kdalle) from SF! Hadn't seen him in ages (nearly 10 years to be exact -- http://www.hisurfadvisory.com/sesh/new/sesh180.htm). Supernice talking with him. Surf was inconsistent, but we all got a few fun ones--enough to make it worthwhile anyway. Funny thing is Tom (westoz) is in town too. Did not see him yet, but got a chance to talk story with him on the phone. Cool guy! Lineup is super-competitive (esp w/ tons of longboarders out), and getting an early jump is always nice.
