4 ball mills siteswaps

this month I've finally tackled the 4 ball mills, and tonight I got runs
of about 12 catches with the 534. I tried a little 633 and 552, and they
felt completely awful. Also tried a 540 in a 3 ball mills and couldn't
make it work.

Any thoughts on how to do some of the easier mills siteswaps? Honestly
even the 531 still feels shaky for me.

For the record, I use the underarm throw for anything 5 or higher.

thanks!

How is your ss:4 millsmess? It would probably help if you practised
entering and exiting the pattern in different ways. Try going into mills
from 71 (shower) or some other basic four-object siteswap.

Heh, I actually suck at that too. The best way I have of entering it is
making a box sort of throw, with one hand throwing a stacked multiplex,
and then running it. I can also enter from a fountain by first making 4
outside throws, but I'm clueless on how to enter it from anything else.

Before I started 4mm siteswaps I did some rounds with 5- I don`t know if
it`s easier, but in my case it helped a lot. Beside this, any siteswap- mm
combination is a hard trick so be patient.

Same here, I had my first rounds of 534mm after practising 5b mm. I had my
4b mm quite consistent
too, I think that is a prerequisite... or not?

This is a pattern I found useful:

l over r, l hand throw
l under r, l hand throw
r over l, r hand throw
r under l, r hand throw
and so on...(name?)

A few thoughts.

For some reason, I find 534 MM easier than the standard 4 MM. I just get
less collisions.

One thing to note with 552 MM - if you do the two fives as the outside
throw and the underarm throw, you basically end up with a four ball
Burke's Barrage.

Sounds like a 423 to me. Is it with 3 balls?

My 4 ball MM enterances:

4 outside throws from the fountain
Fountain - > RH collect -> RH under left arm stacked duplex
([6x4x],[53])gap

7531

By the way, that should say that I tried a 504, not a 540, since that
doesn't make sense lol.
