Want a video

Hey all, I'm a communications student and I want to practice my editing
skills but i have two small issues:

(1) I'm not that good of a juggler yet, so i can't really make a video on
myself

(2) I don't really have any footage of anything that is any good

Basically, I was wondering if anyone that had some video of yourself, or
other people, doing some sort of manipulations, that you would be willing
to send to me so that I could "make a movie" and work on my editing. I
would gladly send you back the final copy and the raw footage that you
originally provided.

Now, I'm not promising anything spectacular just yet because I'm kinda
new, but I can garentee that you will have something to show off in the
end.

Please let me know :)

Are you looking for something to work on now, or are you interested in
future projects as well? How should folks contact you about this (email
address)?

I think it sounds like it's time we did another "rec.juggling collaboration
video" - ThrowinStuff101 seems to be volunteering to edit it (great!)

The usual form is something like:
- The editor picks a date when he'll be free to spend hours editing the
footage
- The editor sets a date about a week prior to the editing date which
will function as a "closing date" for contributions
- The editor sets a vague idea of what he wants from each clip (The most
recent one was "one or two tricks, less than 10 seconds of footage" although
I believe diabolo.ca used "show us something new" successfully)
- The editor then announces the closing date, giving people about 2 weeks
to film something - and relentlessly bangs on about it on rec.juggling
on at least a daily basis getting progressively more excited as the
clips come in.

Then the clips flood in, the editor collects them all, and sits down
to do the edit. The final video is much anticipated by those who
took part, but also by everyone else in the world.

The video is then released to rapturous applause, standing ovations, and
people naming their firstborns "ThrowinStuff101"

I'd be up for submitting a clip, I'm sure others would be too. Especially
if you announced it in such a manner that we could film some buttercups
in say, 2 weeks time.
