Fenech vs Nelson III

No, that's not a typo.

Jeff Fenech 44 years of age, will face Azumah Nelson (aged somewhere between 48
and 55) on June 24th.

Fenech looks ripped.....

But, we ask ourselves....why?

What will this bout prove? No title (obviously) is on the line.

Are they trying to set a record for highest aggregate age? (and what is that btw?
anyone know?)

Funnily enough, it just might be an entertaining fight...for a few rounds,
anyway. <sigh >

You're showing our ages, with this post, Peter.
I remember Azumah Nelson from his first loss, I think, to then Salvador
Sanchez, a great Mexican boxer and champion, who had to come behind in
the 15th round to win the bout. Sanchez died, and later Nelson would be
a champion and fight for 19 professional years. He's almost 50.

Fenech, if I remember was a champion who was tough as nails, and I think
he fought Nelson twice...?

Anyway... yeah for the old guys. Even if they're not half of what they
were, it will be impressive skills and conditioning for these two old guys.
