If you have a dog that likes to go places with you, that you like to take places, there are times when the dog simply can't go where you need to. Most people leave their dog in the car, a car that can get dangerously hot very quickly. Far too many dogs die this way every year. Some kids do too, but we're talking about dogs right now. If you look closely, you'll notice that the car is not in the space straight. It's deliberately parked to provide room for the dog to move around. The dog is not attached at the ear, where it is more exposed to risk, but in the front, on the side where there's space between the car and the adjacent space. Lots of dogs live their lives outside. This dog is not subjected to any more head or discomfort than they are. He can relieve himself if he needs to and, if he needs shade, can get under the car, as dogs have been doing as long as there have been dogs and cars. Yes, I'd do this to my dog. I wouldn't leave him there for long, but it's infinitely better than locking him in the car. I'd be willing to bet that the dog would agree, showing it by jumping right in the car when the person that he loves, that loves him, is ready to go for another ride. Why do you ask? Lee |

It looked a bit small to be a standard poodle... Regardless, a poodle could not be a good hunting dog for 2 reasons: 1. All the animals would just laugh at it with that haircut. 2. Since it is a *French* poodle, it would surrender to the first animal that put up *any* resistance. Perish the thought of what might happen if it ever met a *German* Shepherd. -- See NNTP header field "X-Real-Email-Address" to reply by email. |
