Snowbanks you have. Balls you do not. Giggle. I still laugh when I think about predicting when you would show up, when we all laughed at you at dinner in Jackson. You showed up to the day. After hiding while we were there. Giggle. DFC. Bragging about having your own snowbanks. How pathetic. Imagine how you could have bragged if you faced me down in person. Ooooops, forgot. That would take balls, not snowbanks. Giggle. Damn, this is fun. |

LoL...This I gotta hear, and in all honesty, if you make a good point, I will concede it. Let's see : 1. The altitude is pretty similar, right ? What's the town of JaxHole at ? 5K ? 6K ? 2. You both live within 20 miles of major domestic destinations for skiing. By that alone I'd say measuring mean annual snow totals is worth comparison. 3. Are you going to tell me that the topography of the surrounding area somehow precludes a comparison of snow totals ? |

MT as he/she/it is known by, says it ridiculous to compare the Wasatch to a true ski community like Jackson Hole and the Teton Range. It is such a true ski community they even know the mountains on a first name basis, and have no problem making dubious assertions. |

I ski because I enjoy it, not because it impresses anyone. Klaus' residence is probably near 7000'. Even if Jeff's monstrously inaccurate claim of JaxHole base elevation was correct, Wasatch Back (hell even up here in Cache Valley, on the west side of the mountains) has MUCH more (at least 200 % more) snowpack in any exposure...Of course days like todays 74-degree sun won't keep that around much longer. |

What's up with that? It's like the (backcountry) ski industry has created this class of "extreme skier being" for people who couldn't be bothered to develop proper skiing skills. Every time I ski Northway at Crystal I hear all these Cloudveil clad "skiers" on their Fer-shitzees whinging about the bumpy runout to the lift (like hello? there's 8 jillion skiable acres merging onto two trails, you're, what? surprised that the last two hundred yards is mogulled?) What was my point here, anyway? Oh yeah. I'm cool, and Jeff's not. And I'll bet I'm a better skier than Alan, which makes me cooler than him. And klaus doesn't actually ski anymore, preferring to gloat constantly about how much snow he has at his house, so I'm definitely cooler than him. Anyone else want to take me on?
