14-1 break

whats with this bih break? Saw videos of both Corey and Allison doing it.
What have I missed??
I don't see any rule changes.
/hope it's not the wave of the future. Picking that first rack apart is a
great part of the game.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure (about 99.99%) that it's just for
this challenge.

They're not matches -- it's Bob's 14.1 Challenge at the DCC. Player
vs the table.

However, I think its a better way to start the game anyway...

This is the same idea as "Equal Offense" and "Fargo". This is an
offense-only kind of situation, player vs. table. This is good for
comparing runout ability, but of course there are lots of
interesting 14.1 tactics (including the opening break shot and
subsequent safety battle) that occur in real 14.1 games that never
occur in the offense-only games.
