Why I have no clue. When they stopped me from watching I started just reading updates on BBC sports or the Championship website, don't remember which. This year I actually forgot all about it. Update Hendry's quote after losing to O'Sullivan today. The 39-year-old was seen to congratulate O'Sullivan at length at the end of the match. "I just told him he played brilliantly," he added. "He's the best player in the world by a country mile. "At the moment, I can perform like that in a club but not in a match. Ronnie hits the ball in match like someone hits a ball in practice. I understand they're subsidized by UK taxpayers, so maybe limiting high-bandwidth downloads makes sense, but they should be able to get the costs back through selling advertising... ...although it looks like they do not have any advertising on their web site at all. Seems a foolish way to keep people's taxes higher than necessary. I've looked for Ronnie's most recent 147, a couple of days ago, but can't find it (yet). Dean |
