Now, IPL helps restaurant business

The capital has taken to staying in — and ordering in, as long as the
IPL season lasts. Although dining out has gone down drastically,
restaurateurs aren’t complaining: because ordering in has gone up.

Gulati restaurant, in the bustling Pandara Road, has seen a decrease of
10 per cent in restaurant attendance ever since the matches began but an
increase of 30 per cent in their packed orders. "During the weekend,
when the 3 and 9 pm matches are on, our phones ring almost nonstop!"
says Digen, the manager.

I hope Bush doesn't see this, otherwise he will blame IPL for food crisis.
