| Flood - ITV, yesterday and today |
What a load of piffle. Even I , no meteorologist, no hydrographer , can predict a storm surge approx magnitude, if not to-the-hour timing yet, 2 days in advance. Whoever was the scriptwriter/advisor(perhaps not) seemed to be unaware of http://www.pol.ac.uk/ntslf/ -- Diverse Devices, Southampton, England electronic hints and repair briefs , schematics/manuals list on http://home.graffiti.net/diverse:graffiti.net/ |

The Met Office made to look like complete idiots and the acting was so stupid and the underlying extended family plot so ridiculous, as to be unwatchable .........and I watched it all the way through! The bit where they jumped off the Barrier, then managed to both grab the same lamp-post some distance downriver, into a swirling Thames that washed lorries off Tower Bridge, then both managed to grab the same boat in the deadfully strong current into which he dived into 3 times to try and dislodge a lifeboat and surfaced at the same place...oh! I could go on. Thank goodness for the 5-minute advert breaks so I could keep up with Ronnie in the snooker! Paul |

Gosh, wasn't it deadful. Did anyone spot the actor standing in for Will Hand leering over a PC screen. If you taped it, replay it, as you can clearly see he's logged onto www.greatdartmoorsnowtormof1881.com David Mitchell. Langtoft |
