What's the RH optimum RPW?

Dunno what RH reckons, but I'd have thought that something aroud 30
would be a decent balance between bat and ball. A week where the
average wicket is going at more than 40 makes it sound far too easy
for the batsman. I like watching a stylish batsman dominate, but I
also like watching bowling attacks who scent a wicket with almost
every ball. Variety is the spice of life, and a RPW of 40 doesn't
sound like variety...

I'd have guessed, since he often refers to the 1950's as a 'golden age',
at around 25RPW.

Well, I would settle for that, although I sometimes hanker after the
averages of the 1870s. RH

WG's perhaps? :)

Getting back closer to the point, why is it you prefer the game to be
more favourable to bowlers, than batsmen?
