Cardus in Converation

I have read much which suggests that Sir Nev was as facile with the
tongue as with the quill. This charming, unadulterated transcript
confirms it:

Shucks. Is there anything more mortifying than a misspelt heading?

That's odd. It works just fine for me. Try googling the phrase
"There was no rancour in it, but it was positive enough. Brian Redhead

Still couldn't get to that page, but googling threw up

http://www.cricketweb.net/forum/showthread.php?t=17282

which enabled me to read the piece. It's excellent. I don't know who
Geoffrey Mather is, but we are in his debt.

I don't frequent CricketWeb much nowadays, but that thread might be
worth keeping an eye on.
