Here's the real post-year award argument...

Best 2-year-old colt or gelding!

Cuvee ran last in the Juvie. Granted, he was burned up in a speed duel, but
they don't give Eclipses to horses that run last in a BC race.
Action This Day has one maiden win besides the Juvie, and benefitted from
aforementioned speed duel. Do you give a horse an Eclipse off one good race?
Then there are Birdstone, Ruler's Court, Silver Wagon and Eurosilver, all of
whom had their moments, but skipped the Juvie.

So who gets it? Any thoughts here?

Bob

Action This Day by default. No 2 year old has more than one significant win
this season so I think you are left with no choice but to give it to the horse
who won the most important race.
