My Free Pick for today:

Belmont 9th Race 5:10pm US Eastern Time

London #7 (ML 3-1) This 4-year-old gelding is coming off a much-needed
two-month layoff. London has had 11 starts and has finished in the
money six times with four second-place finishes. In six of his last
seven races, he has been a beaten favorite. He's had troubled trips in
many of these races. He was steadied, bumped, steadied in the
backstretch, ran wide -- and those are just of few of the troubles he's
had. With all his troubles, maybe he'll benefit from the layoff. I
think that trainer James Jerkens can solve the problem and bring this
horse to the winner's circle. One cure may be his new jockey, M.J.

Mangiaracina #2 (ML 6-1) If London does not run well, Mangiaracina is
my backup horse in this race. This Mark-Hennig-trained 3-year-old colt
has had eight starts with five in-the-money finishes. On July 16, this
horse finished a strong second in his first turf race. In his last race
August 31, which was taken off the turf, he stumbled badly at the start
and finished third. With his one strong turf start, this horse may have
found his niche on the grass. Mangaiaracina has run against some pretty
good horses in his career: last year he ran second to Pinpoint and he
also competed against Rumspringa, finishing in the money. This shows me
he's got class, which should come out on the turf today.

I'll use each of these horses as my Key Horse picks within this race.

Best of luck today and always to everyone. To your Wealth!

-- KO Jim
