Patches

This is my infrequent reminder to the group that anyone wanting a Team
Internet 2.0 patch has only to email me for details.

[email protected]

They are five bucks, shipped to your door. Foreign members will pay
slightly more to accommodate overseas shipping costs.

Well, I can't very well say that out loud, otherwise I'll be the object of a
multilateral boycott.

Oh wait... drat.

Re: Patches

I'm sorry. As a relative newbie, what are the patches all about, and is
there a link where I can see a picture?

Hi David. Welcome to the group!

Team Internet 2.0 is the "virtual paintball team" comprised of people who
post to rec.sport.paintball. (The original Team Internet sorta faded away
many years ago, so this is its second incarnation) The patches are useful
to identify other rec.sport.paintball members at large paintball events
(Skyball, Shatnerball, D-Day, etc.), and they're also a fun little way to
display your proud affiliation with our group. When you get a patch, you
also get your team number. (You can choose your own number, or you can have
the next available number on the list.) Each patch has a blank area below
the logo to write your number however you'd like. Some people have had
their numbers embroidered onto their patches, some people just use a magic
marker. It's up to you.

Each patch is five dollars, which includes shipping anywhere in the
continental United States. You can see what they look like here:

They're about 3 inches by 2 inches, and the colors are a little brighter
than you see in the picture. If you're interested, email me at
[email protected]

I take money orders and Paypal.

:-)

Eric
